By President Wickremesinghe has highlighted the implications of geopolitics on small counties in a very touching manner.
President Wickremesinghe who presided over the annual meeting of the ADB Board of Governors this morning (29) said that The consequence of evolving geopolitics is an obstacle to economic recovery.
“As they say in many of our countries when the elephants fight, it is the grass that is crushed. This is the predicament of many of our member countries. Therefore, we must overcome the geopolitical rivalries to address the major threats to our existence, otherwise, we will all fail.”
