By The first phase of ticket sales of the Sri Lankan leg of the Asia Cup 2023, hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board, have been opened and an informed source said that the tickets are moving like hotcakes.

A total of nine matches, including the final, will be played in Sri Lanka.
The 2023 Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from 30 August to 17 September 2023. It will be the 16th edition of the Asia Cup, and the first to be co-hosted by multiple countries.
The tournament will be played by 6 teams: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. The teams will be divided into two groups of three, with each team playing each other team in their group once. The top two teams from each group will then progress to the Super Four stage, where they will play each other again. The top two teams from the Super Four stage will then play in the final.
The matches will be played in 5 venues:
• Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, Pakistan
• Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi, Pakistan
• Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Balagolla, Sri Lanka
• R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, Sri Lanka
• Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo, Sri Lanka
The final will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
The tournament is being jointly hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). The PCB has been responsible for organizing the matches in Pakistan, while the SLC has been responsible for organizing the matches in Sri Lanka.
The 2023 Asia Cup is a major event in the cricket calendar and is expected to attract a large number of spectators. It is also a valuable opportunity for the teams to prepare for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup, which will be held in India in 2023.
