By A Grant is available to those who looking for funding to defend and promote human rights in Sri Lanka. The British High Commission announced that Projects should focus on strengthening civil society working towards defending human rights and creating space for memorialization.
Thematic areas that are welcome would be the Enhancement of the capacity of CSOs to work towards effectively responding to incidents of human rights violations; Resulting in increased understanding and awareness among key stakeholders around longstanding and contemporary human rights issues; Being mindful of cross-cutting themes such as conflict-sensitivity, gender equality, and environment; demonstrate scalability and sustainability.
The closing date is the 27th of August and ten funding opportunities are available.
