By President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have discussed Sri Lanka’s debt crisis, on the sidelines of the funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Insiders say that the brief talks which lasted only ten minutes were very cordial. Sri Lanka’s debt restructuring and opportunities have been discussed.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe met with the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong and invited him for next year’s independence day celebrations. He also explained that his priority was to bring into effect the Free Trade Agreement with Singapore.
