The World Health Organization have stood by the AstraZeneca Corona Vaccine and dismissed fears that have prompted countries in Europe and Asia to suspend use of the shot.
Thailand and some European countries have halted mass vaccination after issues of blood clotting were reported.
European politicians have moved to defend the AstraZeneca vaccine as Bulgaria became the latest European country to suspend its use over fears it causes blood clots.
Meanwhile mixed reactions are emerging among the European states. The health ministers of Belgium and the Netherlands said that their countries would continue to use the jab after it is cleared.
The Dutch health minister Hugo De Jonge commented: “There is no reason to stop,’. ‘It is a good vaccine.”
Denmark, Iceland Norway and now Bulgaria among the countries that have stopped administering the Oxford University jab.
