The leader of the Tamil People’s National Front, Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, has urged Tamils to boycott the next Sri Lankan presidential election and show their distrust in the electoral system.
Ponnambalam has said that voting at the presidential election will be tantamount to accepting the system.
The TNPF’s leader’s position is in sharp contrast to the leader of the Tamil Makkal Thesiya Kuttani (TMTK) party, retired Supreme Court Justice C.V.
