The most venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Sidhhartha Sumangala and Most Venerable Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Mahanyake Theras of Malwatte and Asgiriya have informed President Wickremasinghe that funds are collected from the public for this questionable construction.
The builder of the duplicate Dalada Maligawa has already collected contributions from the Buddhists by misleading them.
