Mawbima Janatha Party leader Dilith Jayaweera has warned that the ‘Saradiel’ theory advocated by radical red parties will lead the country from the third world to a state of chaos. Speaking at the party’s Kandy district convention at Sahas Uyana on the 7th, Jayaweera dismissed the promises of radical parties to apprehend thieves and return stolen money to the people as mere empty talk.
He emphasized the importance of a path of decency for the country to achieve progress. Jayaweera remarked that traditional leftist and rightist politics lack the momentum to enter today’s political landscape. According to him, over 60% of the population has moved away from the two traditional political camps and is seeking a new solution.
He called for discussions on this new solution and the potential for its positive impact. Jayaweera extended an invitation for a live debate on political issues to NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
