Crowdfunding Campaign for Nuclear Weapons,

Ukrainians began a crowdfunding campaign for nuclear weapons, initiated by Monobank co-founder Oleh Gorokhovsky. The fundraiser rapidly amassed over 21 million hryvnias ($506,852) from 70,000 donors across 61 countries, with significant contributions from the U.S. and Poland. However, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Prystaiko clarified that Ukraine surrendered not only its nuclear arsenal but also the necessary technology under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, making rebuilding such capabilities impossible.
