The United Republic Front, led by Member of Parliament Patali Champika Ranawaka, who is also a SJB parlimentarian who is now critical of it’s leader Sajith Premadsa have met. Most importantly both parties have decided to make the meeting known to the public.
Commenters say that this is a clear signal that certin fractions are moving towards Rani Wickramasinha and pressure is building up on Sajith Premadasa to form an alliance with UNP directly or indirectly.
The indirect way would be for the SJB and UNP to form in to a alliance that would be in an alliance with a number of other political fronts and parties the new alliance led by Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and the United Republic Alliance led by Ranawaka could be part of this formation.

The Common Minimum Programme was a popular a document outlining the minimum objectives of a coalition government in India. The document has acquired prominence since coalition governments have become the norm in India and now it sees that Sri Lanka is following the same path way.
